"The organic evolution of a painting fascinates me. Many times I lay out an initial vision. Then the next day or days later, something unforeseen will take form, seemingly ‘popping out’ of the canvas or paper. Many of my works emerge this way. What is so amazing is that the developing images become so clear that I need no outside visual references for further definition.
I believe that is a benefit of my yoga practice. A quiet mind expresses my inner voice."

"I paint for the pure joy of painting. I am fascinated with the beauty and variety of nature, color and, my love of music. I like to paint a variety of subjects: people, animals, landscapes, buildings, flowers and musical instruments. I am frequently asked why I like to paint musical instruments. My answer is this: I have such an intense passion for both music and art that, for me, they intermingle and this is the way I express such feeling.
I create my own ideal world, full of color, beauty, nature and music."
